As editor and the first writer in the blog, you simply must do this.

5 albums and why.

Quick, don't think about it.

1.   Miles Davis' Bitches Brew

You know you want to just sit back, let your mind wander.   Miles really nails this. Sure some purists will say Sketches of Spain or Kind of Blue, but you know better. This is music you can really listen to, have to listen to.

2.  The Beatles' The Beatles (aka as the White Album)

You know I tried to paste the album cover there right?  Doesn't show up on the white background so I had to paste the inside cover.  Nevertheless, the White Album is amazing.  Every song has baggage. You know they're letting you in on what's going on even if you can't quite figure out what it is.

3. Radiohead's Ok Computer

You know the '90s were better for music than you thought right?   Despite all the craze for grunge, this album, hands down makes the '90's matter.

4.  Fleet Foxes' Fleet Foxes

Totally surprised myself with this one.   I was looking at my collection and saw this one and thought, "What album have you listened to more than any other in the last 2 years.  Fleet Foxes?" Yes, Fleet Foxes!

5.  Robert Palmer's Sneaking Sally Through the Alley

You didn't think I was going to let the '70s go by.   Do you even know how awesome this album is?   Concept album...check.   Backed by Little Feat....check.   It's all down hill from here for Robert Palmer, but this is funky soul.
